Extensive feasibility work has been completed at the Royal Sheba orebody, including the drilling of an additional 39 boreholes to update the 3D geological model. The project has Measured and Indicated Resources of some 0.56 million ounces of contained gold and the orebody is open at depth and on strike below 100m depth. A Preliminary Economic Assessment for Phase 2 is being completed with the emphasis on assessing the merits of accessing the orebody by developing haulages from the current surface adits into the orebody. The existing Barberton Mines processing plant infrastructure will be upgraded to process the Royal Sheba ore.
